Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro, in cooperation with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) and our neighbouring electric utilities, would like to encourage small businesses** in our service area to use energy efficient measures in their facilities. By participating in the Power Savings Blitz, your company could be eligible for up to $1,000 in FREE* lighting and electric water heater retrofits.

Besides receiving free products and installation up to $1,000, your business could also save money over the long term through the improved energy efficiency of new lighting systems and other applicable measures.

Recycle!
Let us take care of recycling the removed fluorescent lamps for you. Since fluorescent lights do contain small amounts of mercury, we want to ensure that they don’t end up in landfill and are decommissioned in an environmentally friendly manner.
Who’s Eligible?
The 2009 Power Savings Blitz program is being offered to small business customers in the service area of Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro.
Specific Eligibility Criteria:
- Small business customers that have an average monthly demand consumption of less than 50kW.
- Small business customers located in the Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro areas.
