For some of our customers a power interruption may mean they need to make contingency plans to ensure equipment important to their well being remains functioning.
Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro Inc. delivers energy. Sometimes unplanned interruptions to your power supply are caused by conditions outside of our control; conditions such as extreme weather, vehicle accidents or equipment failure.
We also do planned maintenance and repair work that is scheduled in advance to minimize the impact on individuals for whom electrical service is a medical necessity.
We recognize that in some circumstances where the length of an outage will be extreme, other arrangements may need to be arranged if for example the length of the interruption may exceed the battery backup of a piece of medical equipment.
Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro retains a list of contact names and telephone numbers of those customers that rely on electrical medical equipment for their personal well being.
